- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for RNs; 3-4 years cardiovascular experience required 2. Cases: CVOR required experience; other specialties optional including variety of complex surgical procedures, organ transplantation, heart, lung, liver, kidney and pancreas, cardiac surgery, general surgery, gyn, urology, ortho, and plastics 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; must be able to circulate and scrub CVOR cases 4. License: Compact License or WA single state acceptable 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience huge plus but not required; EPIC module completed during orientation is billable 7. Shifts/Call: 3 weeknight call shifts per 4 week schedule and 2 24hr weekends per month (total of 5 call shifts); weekend coverage on call; manager will discuss call in interview 8. RTO: 1 week maximum; keep to minimum; cannot accommodate during orientation week 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff must be separated from facility for 18 months before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no difference in bill rate; candidates will float within hospital 11. Background: Must disclose any background hits, DUIs at time of submission for facility consideration 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN 5-6 hours; completed pre-start except EPIC module; WA suicide prevention training may require additional 6 hours if working with MSL 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any color; scrubs provided for OR personnel 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Looking for travelers who can circulate and scrub CVOR cases Critical: Two references required upon submittal, preferably both supervisory/charge.
