- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will consider 1 year if Level 1 trauma facility experience 2. Cases: Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases; scrub and circulate experience required for these specialties 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; ACLS by compliance deadline for RNs 4. License: Valid state license required at submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 1815-0645; on-call required as needed, 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule; every other weekend required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Level 1 trauma experience required 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Heart and lung transplant experience needed for night shift; CensiTrac system for tracking instruments Critical: Must float within service line. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. 40-minute turnaround time from call to clock-in for emergencies.
