- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years CVOR experience required 2. Cases: Must be competent with 3's/4's on skills list: CABG, Aortic Valves, Mitral Valves, Tricuspid valves, TAVR, Aortic arch and root replacements with circulatory arrest, ECMO, Impella insertions, open thoracotomies, laparoscopic thoracoscopies, mediastinscopies, and other related chest procedures 3. Certifications: BLS/ACLS required; copies not required for submittal 4. License: KY or compact license required; license in hand or compact required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC required for all nursing specialties 7. Shifts/Call: 0600-1630, call every 3rd weekend, 1-2 nights per week; call required every other day and every other week Heart call 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time offs allowed 9. Returning Staff: Staff must wait 2 years before allowed to travel 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; travelers within 75 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Facility open to some with explanation 12. Modules: 2 hours average, non-billable, completed during orientation and annually; recorded via transcripts in DevelopYou 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: No scrubbing required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Must schedule lab dates within 2 days of signing and complete within 2 weeks.
