Qualifications:

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3+ years required 2. Cases: Open heart adult surgery, CABG, Valves (aortic, mitral and pulmonic), ECMO, laser lead extractions, TAVR 3. Certifications: BLS required, CNOR preferred; all certifications required at time of submission 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience (4 hours EPIC training required) 7. Shifts/Call: 32 total call hours per month, about 1 weekend/month 24 hour call both days 8. RTO: Schedule requests must be sent with submittal and approved before offer; RTO after offer will NOT be accommodated; must work 2 of 3 holidays; requests with less than 7 days RTO prioritized 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone minimum 1 year before eligible for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; travel experience highly preferred but will consider first-time travelers 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted 12. Modules: 18 hours average non-billable modules for RN; 4 hours EPIC training; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: Highly preferred but will consider first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Knowledge required of Impella and HeartMate devices Critical: Must float to Main OR if no CVOR cases during shift. Scrub required for open CVOR cases, circulate and TAVR highly preferred. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
