- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: CVOR and vascular cases; Laser Lead Extractions, Dissections, CABG, Valves, MAZE, Endovascular cases, Thoracic (VATS and Open), Impella, IABP 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s days 6:30AM-5PM; 18 days of call in 8-week period required 8. RTO: Unit manager approval required; auto-approve 5 days or less for ICU/MS/TELE/PCU if not on holiday; must work 2 out of 3 holidays; no RTO first week due to orientation 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must wait 12 months; return travelers ineligible if cancelled within 10 days of start date; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; may float to affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Complete state releases for GA, NV, NH, MA, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands to prevent delays 12. Modules: Average 6 hours, billable for all hours, completed during first week of orientation, recorded by LMS transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
