- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience required 2. Cases: Level 1 trauma centers and extensive scrub experience required; preferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, Burns 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Call required M-F 2100-0630, Saturday and Sunday 12 hrs 0630-1900 and 1900-0630; 3 weekend shifts per 13 weeks as needed 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after contract signing 12. Modules: Not specified 13.
