- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of OR experience required 2. Cases: Multiple surgical specialties including General OR, Ortho/Spine, Total joint replacement, robotic surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, and various specialized surgeries 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred 4. License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required; SC license prioritized 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s, 6:30a-5:00pm; on-call 1 day every week and one weekend every month 8. RTO: Must be submitted at time of submission; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted at lower bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 4 hours average, non-billable, included in NBO hours, completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: Required; first-time travelers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided by facility 15.
