- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years RN experience required; manager wants 2 years OR RN experience 2. Cases: Pediatric General OR for patients newborn to 17 years; scrub and circulate experience required; robotic experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be AHA if required by unit; copies required at submission 4. License: WV or Compact license required; pending license acceptable but must have active to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8s (0645-1515) or 4x10s (0645-1717); 6-8 call shifts per month; self-schedule weeknights and weekends 8. RTO: None within reason; manager appreciates adding weeks if requesting time off 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last day worked permanent 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; permanent address must be 75+ miles minimum (facility considers 75-100 miles case-by-case) 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case basis 12. Modules: 2-6 hours average, completed prior to start, non-billable; transcript provided 13. Travel Experience: Required - no first timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Bright Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required October 1 - March 31; medical exemptions only with allergist documentation 16. Special Equipment: Da Vinci Si Surgical System and various robotic surgery equipment Critical: Must have pediatric setting and women's specialty experience.
