- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years RN experience required; 2 years OR RN experience required 2. Cases: Pediatric General OR; General OR; scrub and circulate experience required 3. Certifications: BLS required; BLS, ACLS, PALS must be via American Heart Association if required by unit 4. License: WV or Compact License required; pending license acceptable; must have active to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8hr shifts with weekday and weekend on-call duties; self-schedule rotating call 8. RTO: None within reason; manager appreciates adding weeks if requesting time off during assignment 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last day worked permanent 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; permanent address must be 75 miles minimum from facility (will consider 75-100 miles case-by-case) 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 2-4 hours; completed prior to start; vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Required; no first timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Bright Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required October 1st - March 31st; medical exemptions only with allergist/physician documentation 16. Special Equipment: Robotic experience preferred; Da Vinci Si Surgical System experience listed Critical: Pediatric setting and women's specialty experience required. Two manager/charge references within past 2 years required. Current Vandalia Health System employees not eligible.
