- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum; 1st timers accepted 2. Cases: Main OR for General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, Colorectal 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: GA or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic, Pyxis 7. Shifts/Call: 7-8 calls in 8 week schedule; 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts; 2-3 weekday night call shifts; 2-3 weekends per 8 week schedule 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; Spring Break blackout (April 4th-12th); Holiday restrictions based on number of holidays in assignment 9. Returning Staff: Internal staff must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year; Return travelers must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying if cancelled or DNR 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
