Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have BMT experience (hard stop requirement) 2. Cases: BMT/HEME/MED Oncology experience, or Strong Med Surg experience 3. Certifications: BCLS, ONS Chemo required; OCN and BSN preferred 4. License: DC license required (pending DC license accepted but must have license prior to start date) 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: Rotate Day/Night every other weekend; float required within units of equivalent or lower acuity 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated from MedStar employment for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; candidate address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing; average 12 hours duration; billable up to 4 hours 13. Travel Experience: Must have one previous travel assignment or one month per diem 14. Scrubs: Not provided by facility; any color without other hospital logos 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Two supervisory references required including one from most recent assignment. Patient ratio 1:4-5. 24 hours orientation.
