Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required; 18 months if not otherwise specified 2. Cases: Inpatient oncology, mixed general floor with oncology and hospice as primary specialty 3. Certifications: BLS required; Chemo cert (ONS/ONCC), OCN, and ONS/ONCC preferred; must be AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (1845-0715); no on-call required; will work every other weekend; floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restriction for this specialty 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start, renewed annually; strict deadlines with push if not completed by 4PM CST on Day 1 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Chemotherapy administration equipment; ports, central lines, PICC lines Critical: Patient ratio 6-7; must complete compliance (lab appointment, Docusigns, badge photo) within 1 week of signing contract; first day is virtual at-home day for modules.
