- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5+ years required; must have general pediatrics experience and chemotherapy/oncology experience 2. Cases: General pediatrics, hem/onc, ortho, surgical 3. Certifications: APHON, BLS, PALS required; NRP, OCN preferred; required at time of submission unless otherwise specified 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred; 4 hours of EPIC training required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend (Sat/Sun); will float to PICU and NICU for appropriate assignment 8. RTO: RTO must be included with submission; screenshot of candidate confirming RTO required; requests with less than 7 days RTO prioritized; must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays; block/special scheduling cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone minimum 1 year before eligible to return for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted 12. Modules: Average 18 hours non-billable modules for RN; completed pre-start and annually; includes EPIC training and additional modules 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14.
