- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Oncology-specific experience required 2. Cases: Hematology & Medical Oncology cases, adults over 18 3. Certifications: BCLS required, ONS Chemo/Bio Card required; OCN preferred; must be AHA 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour days (07:45-17:15), no call requirement, no weekends 8. RTO: 7 days maximum for auto approval (cannot fall on holiday); no RTO during first week; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; RTO after booking NOT allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: First-time travelers accepted; locals under 50 miles offered lower rate; can float between Matthews and Ballantyne Clinics (14.1 miles) 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; Non-Acute roles 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14.
