Requirements
- Required certification: Oncology
- 1+ years of experience
- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; 2 years specialty experience required; NO first time travelers 2. Cases: Oncology based patient population including head and neck, breast, GYN, lung, GI, neuro, transplant, prostate, and uro patients 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, Chemo, OCN preferred; Chemo Cert required for all RN jobs; must have certification in hand, no pending 4. License: CA license required in hand upon submission, no pending license, does not accept EMSA 5. Education: BSN required to submit for all RN positions 6. EMR: EPIC documentation required; Epic is required for some units 7. Shifts/Call: Days, 5x8; NO float/call/weekend required 8. RTO: No restrictive rules on RTO 9. Returning Staff: Former employees will not be submitted/considered for travel positions 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at local rate; considered local within 75 mile radius 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Modules are not required 13. Travel Experience: Not required, accepts first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Caribbean blue scrubs not provided by unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only; Flu Vaccine or Flu Declination form required during flu season (October-March) 16. Special Equipment: Head and neck scope management, POC testing, Pyxis, Aria Data Critical: Understanding of high dose rad therapy required. COVID-19 Vaccine + Booster required. 24 hours orientation. All OT must be approved by Charge RN daily.
