Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years; must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for clinical pass; MEDSURG EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2. Cases: Hematology Oncology experience preferred but not required 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; ONS certification preferred 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12D/N rotating contract available; first week orientation Mon-Fri dayshift, second week 36hrs on-unit with preceptor 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds Critical: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed urgently after contract signing. Two professional references required (1 manager/director, charge RN acceptable for 2nd). Float required to other MedSurg Oncology units. Patient ratios goal 1:4 but can be 1:5.
