Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Medical oncology and hematology patients; handling incoming patients only, not administering chemo/infusions 3. Certifications: BCLS required; OCN, ONS bio/chemo card preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour days, 8am-5pm, no weekends, possible floating between Ballantyne and Matthews locations 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less if not on holiday; more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation; RTO after booking not allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health or New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; must disclose previous employment 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles offered lower local rate; accepts first time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; Non-Acute roles 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start and annually; recorded via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13.
