- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; will consider acute Oncology/Hematology experience 2. Cases: Classical hematology (bleeding disorders/hemophilia/anemias/sickle cell/DVTs); non-malignant hematology only 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ONS, BMTCN, OCN preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience; EPIC Acute Activation User activated in EPIC with hospital-related or blended access required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 Hours (M-F 8a-4:30p); no call, float, or weekend requirements 8. RTO: Can auto approve 7 days or less if not on holiday; more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation; RTO after booking NOT allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous PERM/PRN/EP staff must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 4-5 hours for non-acute roles; non-billable; must be completed pre-start and annually via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13.
