- Unit Notes:Primarily Ortho OP, will do Neuro from time to time but Ortho is largest need/experience OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels POSITION SUMMARY: The Occupational Therapist assists patients in the restoration of occupational function through evaluation and treatment. Performs examination and evaluation of patients' occupational and functional status including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary and integumentary systems as they relate to functional mobility skills. Includes gathering information from the patient chart, patient and family, or other source as appropriate. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Licensure/ Certification: State license. Current state driver s license for those providing Driving Evaluations. CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to evaluate patients' Occupational and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems. Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
