Requirements

- Unit Notes:Department: Occupational Therapy - Unit: Occupational Health Jerome - # of patients treated per day: 8 to 10. 1 therapist per day. - General Certification Requirements: BLS - Other Certs Required for all OT: N/A - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Ortho-total joints, neuro- strokes, occasional brain injuries, don't see TBI; medical, and General ICU. - Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient: Acute Inpatient and Swing Bed. - What areas are they required to cover: Acute Inpatient and Swing Bed. When census is low they will float to Magic Valley Medical Center. - Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Must have 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab experience, okay with first time travelers. - EMR: EPIC - Is there an OT Manager/Supervisor on each shift: Manager - Do you staff Rehab Aides: COTAs: no - Shifts & Scheduling: 5- 8 hour shifts, 0830-1700. No self scheduling. - Weekend Requirements: n/a - Holiday Requirements: May need to cover holidays. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs permitted, must not match color of other departments. List of colors available upon hire. - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Usually 2-3 days in the department. Travelers should plan on working M-F 5 8 s to accommodate the onboarding schedule. **This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
