Requirements
- Required certification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Up to 12 cases per tech for all three rooms total; stress tests/studies, hepatobiliary, VQ scans, thyroid, parathyroids, GI, bone scans, sentinel nodes, I-131 therapies (non-therapeutic) 3. Certifications: RT(N) or CNMT required; ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB required; All RNs require ACLS by compliance deadline (except Behavioral Health, Case Manager & Outpatient) 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois license required in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred/required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: M-F rotating shifts (7-1530, 730-1600, 800-1630, 830-1700); No call required; Every other weekend required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13 week contract; No RTO first week; Must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; Can stay 18 months maximum, then 3 month break required 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates within 75 mile radius accepted (except PCTs, CNAs, Medical Assistants) 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Pewter/gray color required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Various nuclear medicine equipment for specified procedures Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Fit testing required. References preferred at submittal; some facilities require two supervisory references within last two years.
