- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (18 months minimum per facility policy) 2. Cases: Cardiac, Bone Scan, Liver/Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies, Tumor Localization, Myocardial required; Brain Scan, Renal Flow, SPECT preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT N or NMTCB required; CNMT also mentioned as required 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner documentation required 7. Shifts/Call: Weeknight and weekend call required; block scheduling; patient ratio 3:1 days 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; anything more requires facility approval 9. Returning Staff: IU employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; accepted for Surgical Services, Allied, IU Clinics at lower rate; not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER positions 11.
