Requirements
- Required certification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 18 months minimum but refer to job description for exceptions 2. Cases: Nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, MUGA scans, renal studies, cardiac imaging, and various nuclear medicine specialties 3. Certifications: BLS, CNMT or NMTCB, ARRT(N) required; must be in hand prior to start 4. License: IN License required; must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner required; community hospital experience required 7. Shifts/Call: M-F 7:30-16:00; may float to other facilities; 100% floating required 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday; must work 2 of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: IU permanent/PRN employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for this position at lower rate; out-of-state residents need 3-month break, in-state need 6-month break to reset eligibility 11. Background: Policy noted prior to submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Siemens equipment experience included in skills Critical: SSN and DOB required at submittal.
