- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years experience in Level IV NICU required 2. Cases: Level IV NICU cases; must be competent floating to PICU and CICU 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, NRP, STABLE preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: CA RN License required 5. Education: BSN required for all RN positions 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12hr Rotating Day/Night shift (variables only, straight days not accommodated) 8. RTO: All tentative RTO must be included at submittal; additional mid-contract requests not accepted; limited to 1-week total for Auto-Offer units 9. Returning Staff: Must be separated minimum 1 year from permanent position before eligible as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Must have prior travel within 12 months; ability to float to other UCSF facilities within 75+ radius 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 8 hours non-billable included in NBO; anything over 24 hours billable; completed pre-start and annually via UC Learning website 13. Travel Experience: Prior travel within 12 months required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Vent management, Trach management, Telemetry, Pulmonary Artery Lines, Umbilical/Central Line Management, Chest Tube Management, UVCs, UACs Critical: COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions; proof required at submission. Prior Teaching Hospital Experience preferred. Float required to CICU, PICU and Newborn Nursery.
