Qualifications:

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required 2. Cases: NICU Level IV caring for premature and seriously ill infants, babies born at edge of viability to those preparing for discharge 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required 4. License: VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required, no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating shifts, weekend coverage required, candidates will float within scope if needed 8. RTO: Should be included at submission, approved by unit manager on WOC, no guaranteed time off, no time off during first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same base rate, no radius rules for applicants, travel experience required 11. Background: Facility will review all background hits 12. Modules: 6 hours average completed during orientation on VCU Learning Exchange, non-billable and factored in NBO, must be completed by Friday of orientation week 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Natural nail policy mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16.
