Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; minimum 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Neonates 34 weeks, prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, feeding intolerance, ELBW from 23/24 weeks, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy 3. Certifications: BCLS, NRP, LA Fire Card (within last 30 days) required; must be AHA certified 4. License: CA license must be in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2 ratios; weekend coverage equivalent to every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) plus 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule; no on-call required 8. RTO: Must be included at submission; 7-day offers from both Aya and client; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility employment history 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours non-billable, completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval; self-reported completion via Workramp transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required; first-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color; L/D & OR provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Conventional ventilation, NAVA, HFOV, jet ventilation, NIRS, hi-flow nasal cannula, Angeleye patient cameras Critical: Float required to nursery/transition roles if delivery volumes high. Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years. Can only submit to one Providence facility at a time. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state.
