- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; must have delivery attendance experience and be willing to attend deliveries 2. Cases: Experienced Level III NICU nurse; attend deliveries (vaginal and c-sections) and assist with transition of newborn 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE required; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: Valid LA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; GE-CPN in NOU and Medi-tech in NICU 7. Shifts/Call: Self scheduling; every other weekend obligation; at least 1 major and 1 minor holiday required 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel 10. Travel/Local: Must live more than 75 miles away from facility or local rate applies; no first time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 5-8 hours for RN; non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Required; no first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Grape/Purple 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Cardiac/Respiratory monitors, pulse oximeters, ventilators, HFNC, CPAP, radiant heat warmers, isolettes, bili-meters, phototherapy, IV pumps Critical: Patient ratios 1:2-3 in NICU, may float to NOU with 1:4-6 ratios.
