- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Level III NICU: 22 weeks gestation and above, respiratory distress, glucose management, patients requiring surgery or cardiac interventions 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP required 4. License: Valid compact or state license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once they have been away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start with no exceptions; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required 12.
