- Unit Notes:Department: Lab | MT/MLT *Certifications Required: BLS, and ASCP OR AMT* HOUSING: Confirm the candidate has looked into housing in the area with the submittal. Leads available. - Certs: Yes, they need BLS. We require either ASCP or AMT certification. - What areas do they cover: Hematology, Chemistry, Coag, UA, phlebotomy (minimal), Molecular, some Micro (gram stains/set ups). Blood bank for those with longer assignments (>6 months). - Do they need to be a Generalist?: Yes - Do they need to perform Phlebotomy?: Yes - Experience: Must be able to work in Chemistry, Hematology and differentials, and UA microscopics. Must be able to preform Phlebotomy. Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, self- motivated, team player. Must have at least 3 years experience and highly prefer travel experience- may accept no travel if tech is experienced. - LIS System: EPIC - EMR/Specific Equipment used in each area: EMR: Epic. Chemistry: Abbott Architech, ISTAT, Avox, Osmometer. Hematology: Beckman DXH 600 and 690T. Coag: Stago CMAX and Stago Start. UA: Clinitek Advantus and Beckman Coulter DxU Iris 840m. Molecular: Cepheid, BacT Alert. - Lab Manager/Supervisor: Krista Jack-Lab Director. Lisa Love- Lab Manager. - Shifts & Scheduling: Most days 8 or 10 hour shifts- 6-2:30P, 6:30-5P, 8-6:30P, 7-3:30P. - Weekend Requirements: Sat/Sun rotating, some travelers ok with working every weekend. - Holiday Requirements: Expected to fill in if needed, ask to be flexible. - Call or Standby Call Requirement: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any scrub color. Lab coats are provided. - Department Specific Orientation: Yes, general orientation with lab director 2 weeks training with techs.
