- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year experience needed; first timers okay; 2 years listed in qualifications section; travel experience required for Critical Care Travelers (PCU, Stepdown, ICU) 2. Cases: Med/Surg patients including general surgery, ortho/neuro post op, post-stroke, medical, post-surgery patients 3. Certifications: BCLS required 4. License: Georgia Nursing License required; must match name on Driver's License and Social Security Card exactly; original documents only, no copies accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required; no training available; travelers tested during orientation; must provide how recent EPIC usage was and total experience 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts; float required to ER holding, Postpartum, Step down; strict every other weekend schedule with no exceptions 8. RTO: Must be presented upfront or will not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must live outside 50 miles; no local travelers accepted 11. Background: Drugs/Alcohol related items disqualify candidates (DS, BGH, NURSYS) 12. Modules: 8 hours non-billable; completed during orientation; may need completion outside orientation; EPIC training separate from modules 13.
