- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: PICC line management and Starting IVs required; must be willing to take trach and laryngectomy patients (experience not required but must be willing); up to 1:7 ratio if needed 3. Certifications: BLS required; Stable listed in system 4. License: Active IL license required in hand at time of application 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 Days (0645-1915); no on-call required; will float as needed; every other weekend required; block schedule not accommodated; guaranteed hours with client call-off policy (up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay; excess cancellations are billable) 8. PICC line management and IV start experience required. Parking permit required at no cost — form completed during orientation. Facility is a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet hospital with 562 total staffed beds.
