Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; Med/Surg experience required; Ortho trauma experience required 2. Cases: Bariatric weight loss surgery, plastic surgeries, general burn wound management, med/surg overflow, post-op cosmetic surgeries, post-op gynecologic surgeries 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be AHA or Red Cross only (RQI cards not accepted) 4. License: Active IL license in hand required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (1845-0715); no on-call; will work every other weekend; floating required within scope to other units 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius requirement 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; first day is virtual at-home day; strict deadlines (4PM CST on Day 1) 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: Bariatric graded lifts (hoyer and sit-to-stand); heparin drips; wound VACs; specialty beds Critical: Patient ratio 5-7; 22 patient daily census; 24 orientation hours; compliance items must be completed within 1 week of signing contract.
