Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required 2. Cases: Med Surg; must be willing to take trach and laryngectomy patients; up to 1:7 ratio if needed 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be AHA or Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 (0645-1915); will work every other weekend; no on-call required; will float as needed 8. RTO: Manager reviews based on unit schedule; only 1 winter holiday off allowed; auto-approve 5 or less days non-holiday RTO; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restriction for this specialty 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; strict deadlines with 4PM CST Day 1 deadline; first day is virtual at-home 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: PICC line management and IV starting experience required; various equipment including wound vacs, feeding pumps, infusion pumps, suction devices Critical: Must complete lab appointment, Docusigns, and badge photo within 1 week of signing contract. Guaranteed hours allow up to 36 hours call-off per 13-week assignment.
