- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (preferred charge RN experience and level 1 trauma) 2. Cases: High-acuity orthopedic trauma including spine surgeries, fractures, joint reconstructions, flap procedures, limb/digit reattachments, thoracic surgeries, gender affirming surgeries, urologic surgeries 3. Certifications: BCLS required 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required (HARDSTOP) 7. Shifts/Call: Nights 3-12 hours, every other weekend (Sat/Sun days and Fri/Sat nights), no on-call required 8. RTO: Minimal, cannot accommodate RTO during first 2 weeks, pre-approved time off limited to two 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18 months separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate, candidates float within hospital 11. Background: Must disclose any hits when submitted 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed pre-start; RN 5-6 hours, Allied 2-3 hours; additional 6 hours for WA suicide prevention training if required for MSL work 13. Travel Experience: Required, seasoned travelers preferred for auto offer, first-timers screened to manager 14. Scrubs: Any solid color scrubs, light blue provided on unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Cervical traction, external fixators, various braces, peripheral nerve catheters, ON-Q pumps, ketamine drips, PCA devices, epidurals and lumbar drains preferred Critical: Two references required at submittal (prefer both supervisory), patient ratios 1:4-5 nights, float required to other MS or float pool units, compliance deadline 3 business days prior to start.
