- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Acute medicine - population includes DM, Renal issues, COPD, abdominal rule outs, cancer patients not receiving current chemo. This unit does not care for surgical patients. 3. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required; All RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance hard document deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Compact license must match state where candidate permanently lives; 75-mile radius rule applies 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system; EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; Every other weekend required; No on-call required; Float within service line required 8. RTO: No more than 7 days RTO per 13 week contract; No RTO first week of assignment; RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; Standard travelers can stay 18 months, must take 3 month break after 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Must pass Relias EKG exam; Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required Critical: Patient ratio 1:6; Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing; MS/Tele experience preferred; 24 orientation hours; References preferred at time of submittal.
