- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission; first-timers accepted 2. Cases: Acute Care Medicine cases including Acute Renal Failure, Pneumonia, Acute Pancreatitis, UTI, Encephalopathy/Cirrhosis, Sickle Cell Pain Crisis, Chest Pain, COPD, asthma acute exacerbation, syncope/collapse, Diabetes type I, Ketoacidosis 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; must pass Relias EKG exam; ACLS required by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required; MO license or compact license required; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no on-call; float within service line; patient ratios 1:3-5 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; cannot be changed once submitted 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; can stay 18 months maximum with 3-month break required 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: BiPAP/CPAP, central lines, chest tubes, HFNC, PCA pumps, PICC lines, wound vacs Critical: Must complete labs within 48-72 hours of signing. Two supervisory references within last two years required for some facilities.
