- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of acute care experience required 2. Cases: Stroke, CVA, brain bleeds, TBI, MS, Guillain-Barre, encephalopathy, seizures, Parkinson's, ALS, Bell's Palsy, Brain tumors, Epilepsy; medical overflow and cardiac patients for first 3 months including pneumonia, flu, covid, dementia, MINDS, Sepsis, Renal failure, CAD, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, CHF, TAVR, CABG, elevated troponins 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; CPI preferred 4. License: State license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift various days, every third weekend, no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 10 RTO days per 13-week contract; restricted during specified blackout periods from November through January 9. Returning Staff: UCHealth employment history must be disclosed; candidates who applied to UCHealth internal positions within last 2 years will not be considered; return travelers must wait one year after completing full year assignment 10.
