- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required (job description states 1 year, submittal details mention 18 months) 2. Cases: Med Surg experience required; patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, Post-op Ortho, Lap Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, Kidney Disease/Dialysis, Constipation, Dehydration, Small Bowel Obstruction, Upper respiratory infection 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred; must be AHA or Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred/required (position specific) 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (1900-0730), 1:6 ratios, every other weekend, no on-call required 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO or less; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius (exception: OR RNs must be 50+ miles from facility) 11. Background: Background policy must be noted prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed pre-start; sent Friday before start, must be completed by 4pm CST on first day; strict deadlines enforced 13.
