- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: At least 2 years required; med surg background with post surgical patient experience (ortho experience beneficial) 2. Cases: COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, diabetic complications, wound care, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, end of life care/hospice, falls, weakness, sepsis, infection 3. Certifications: Basic Life Support required 4. License: NC or compact license required 5. Education: Associate or bachelors in nursing required 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 weekly guaranteed hours, every other weekend, no call requirements 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not specified 14. Scrubs: Any color acceptable 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not specified 16. Special Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, PCA pumps Additional Details: 18-bed unit, 1:6 patient ratios, float requirements to surgical, neuro, intermediate units as needed. IV competency required. Charge experience preferred. Orientation twice monthly.
