Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must meet experience requirements within 3 years recent years; at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for clinical pass; 2 years of oncology experience preferred but NOT REQUIRED 2. Cases: Mixed acuity PCU/MS Tele unit caring for medical oncology patients; variety of diagnoses from solid tumors to some blood cancers; HIGH acuity patient population 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Self-schedule requests; first week orientation Mon-Fri dayshift, second week 36hrs on-unit; 12D/N rotating may include days, nights, or combination 8. RTO: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: GE telemetry monitor system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris Pumps, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, PCA Pumps Critical: Must float to other MS Tele units. Ratios PCU 1:3, MS Tele 1:4-5. 72 orientation hours. Must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract. Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director.
