Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required 2. Cases: Total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties, neck/back surgeries, medical surgical patients, ED patients with high acuity 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: License in hand required with submission 5. Education: Education verification through 3rd party required; facility will not accept education from schools on Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights 7p-730a, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), no call, float required as needed, may work as Charge RN if needed 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission, will not be accepted after submission; two pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius, no locals accepted, must include current driver's license to confirm address 11. Background: Will not accept any open cases on background check 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 2-4 hours, completed during orientation, not included in NBO, hours vary by unit 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: CPMs and Buck's Traction occasionally, neck and back braces Critical: Charge RN experience required. Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs with 2 attempts allowed, no study material provided. Patient ratio 5-6. All travelers subject to float to any Cone Health campus. Compliance deadline 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date. 24 orientation hours. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
