Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: High volume patient populations include patients who have had total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties; Moderate volume patient populations include other types of surgical procedures, inpatient and 24-hour observation patients that are medical patients 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross; copies required at submission 4. License: License in hand required with submission 5. Education: Education Verification through a 3rd party is required; Facility will not accept any education from one of the schools listed on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: EPIC experience REQUIRED 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, Days, 7a-730p; Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday); No call; Float required as needed 8. RTO: RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50 mile radius; No Locals accepted; Submission MUST include current DL to confirm address for local rule 11. Background: Facility will not accept any open cases on the background check 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 2-4 hours; completed during orientation, not included in NBO; hours are unit based and will vary 13. Travel Experience: Previous Travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: CPMs and Buck's Traction occasionally; Neck and back braces Critical: Charge RN experience REQUIRED. All RNs required to pass an EKG exam during compliance with 2 attempts allowed. Compliance requires FULL file by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date. Patient ratio experience 5-6. All travelers subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed.
