Requirements
- Required certification: Med/Surg
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years RN experience required (also states 2 years in another section) 2. Cases: Post surgical patients including bariatric surgeries, colon resections, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs, appendectomies, gallbladder surgeries, and biliary issues; also Med-Surg patients 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: State or compact licensure required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting system experience required; EMR training provided during orientation 7. Shifts/Call: Schedule made at unit manager's discretion; weekend coverage required every other weekend; patient ratio 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: Submit all RTO with profile submittal; minimal holiday RTO requested 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: Must advise of any license hits at time of submittal; recent professional cancels will be reviewed 12. Modules: Only 2 hours billable, average 3-4 hours; recorded via transcripts 13.
