Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Medical Surgical, Orthopedic, and Neuro patient population; mood disorders, pre/post neurosurgery, traumatic brain injury, peripheral nerve block catheters, CVA, substance withdrawal, ortho trauma, total joint replacement 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required within the last 6 months 7. Shifts/Call: Days, 36 or 48 hour option; patient ratios 1:5-6; float required to units of equal or lesser acuity 8. RTO: No more than 3 RTO days auto approved; no RTO on holidays 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent staff must be gone 1 year before can return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50 mile radius rule - traveler must live at least 50 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: RN average 4-6 hours, non-billable, completed onsite during orientation, recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14.
