Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim – Director Respiratory Therapy

Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 8a-5p, Mon-Fri, 8×5, 40hrs per week Varies as department needs

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• CA RT License (must be attached to resume)
• NBRC RRT certification (must be attached to submission)
• 5 years recent Director of Respiratory Therapy experience in an LTAC or Acute Care facility setting
• Intubation skills
• Experience with Cough Assist and IPV
• Experience with Hamilton and Vela Ventilators
• ABG Lab experience
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Other Details:

• Under limited supervision, directs the hospital’s Respiratory Therapy Services
• Plans, directs, and monitors clinical and technical operations, functions, and resources of the Respiratory Therapy Department
• Assures departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Coordinates, monitors, and maintains Key Performance Indicators, performance improvement activities, and National Quality Plan measures/targets
• Participates in hospital CQI initiatives
