Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim – Surgical Services Manager

Shift: Non-exempt, Days / 8×5, 40 hrs per week

Length: 26 weeks

Requirements:

• AK license
• 2 years of experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating room required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical services management (at a surgery center or the like) required
• Graduate of an NLN approved nursing program required
• BSN, MSN, or Master’s degree in healthcare or Business Administration preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• CNOR preferred (attain within 6 months)
• CSSM preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: Cerner preferred
• Holiday: No
• Guaranteed Hours: 32
• Knowledge of AORN Guidelines and Perioperative Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice required
• Knowledge of budgets, reimbursements, coding, claims processing and fiscal management desired
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Knowledge of psychiatric patients (Title 47) required
• Knowledge of coding and billing for Title 47 patients required
• Knowledge of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention tactics required
• Supervisory responsibilities over OR department staff including nurses, anesthesia staff, pre-op provider, and OR support staff
• All travelers required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations
• Housing provided; airfare reimbursed (agency must submit invoice)
