Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; minimum 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, High Risk Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Scrub for C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam; 200-300 births/month 3. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP; NCC EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN; AHA Cert for ACLS/BCLS required 4. License: CA license must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no on-call required; will float to postpartum if needed 8. RTO: RTO must be included at time of submission; 7 days maximum; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility employment with location and dates 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours pre-start and annually; non-billable; over 20 hours requires PM approval; self-reported completion 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required; first-timers not accepted 14. Scrubs: RNs wear navy blue; L&D scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Must be able to work in OR suite during C-section with standard equipment Critical: LA fire card within last 30 days required. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years. All travelers expected to float between facilities within state.
