- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Labor & Delivery, C-sections, NST, Betamethasone, Laboring, Triage, Inductions 3. Certifications: C-EFM (through NCC), BLS, and NRP required with submittal 4. License: Must have DC license in hand for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 1900-0730; 8 hours per 6-week scheduling period on-call 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated from MedStar employment for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16.
