- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of L&D with post-partum experience required 2. Cases: Labor and delivery, post-partum, cesarean section, vaginal delivery, ante-partum 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP required; AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: License in hand preferred, otherwise must apply for MN license through Aya project when offer accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic (Excellian) required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days/Nights (0700-1930 and 1900-0730); will work every other weekend; no on-call required 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius required; locals not accepted except for Radiology positions 11. Background: Cannot proceed if open case; all hits reviewed during compliance; fingerprinting required with LiveScan 12. Modules: Pre-start modules required with $150 stipend, average 8 hours; all onsite Epic/Excellian classes billable 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Provided by the unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: External/Internal Fetal Monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration, Pitocin administration, Epidural management Critical: Sterile vaginal exam experience required. Must have fetal monitoring skills and experience with abnormal heart rate pattern recognition/treatment. One supervisor reference minimum required at submission.
