- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required, 3 years preferred; must have experience with >300 births per month 2. Cases: Obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater for intrapartum, high-risk antepartum and postpartum care; scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean births; rescue cervical cerclage 3. Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP required; Will accept C-EFM in lieu of AWHONN; AWHONN Advanced listed 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12 HR nights 18:45-07:15; no call requirement; every other weekend; minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13.
